This is my take on the 3D platformer genre art style. All 3D models & textures are original concepts, but all are heavily inspired by Conker’s Bad Fur Day / Big Reunion, The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker, and mostly n64 generation platformers. Everything except the skybox was done by me. The skybox came from a cartoon skybox package on the Unity Asset Store.
I chose to do this in Unity 5 because i wanted to prove that Unity 5 can look just as good as other high-end engines. I did not use any post-editing to get the screenshot results. These are in-engine screenshots & optimized game ready assets.
The process goes from a low poly mesh done in Maya, then sculpted in Zbrush. After this i bake the normal map, and bring it into Quixel Suite to do some procedural generated PBR textures for edges and cavities. I also use Substance Painter 2 for this texture workflow.

Color Grading (lowered the color temperature + Increased saturation)
